Section 67 in Goa Co-operative Societies Rules, 2003
67. Deposit.
- A candidate shall not be deemed to be duly nominated for election from a constituency unless he deposits or causes to be deposited with the Returning Officer a sum of Rs. 100/- in cash and where the candidate belongs to a scheduled caste or scheduled tribe or economically backward class, a sum of Rs. 20/- shall be deposited:Provided that, where a candidate has been nominated, by more than one nomination paper for election in the same constituency, not more than one deposit shall be required from him under this rule.
