63. Limitation of capacity of stage carriages and contract carriages.
[Section 96(2)(xv)]. - Save with the special permission of Government no permit or countersignature on the permit shall authorise the conveyance of more than fifty-four passengers, excluding the driver and the conductor in a stage carriage or contract carriage. Seats equal to 20% of the seating capacity shall be reserved for women.
