Section 41(c) in United Khasi-Jaintia Hills Autonomous District (Management and Control of Forests) Rules, 1960
(c)In case of any settlement by negotiation, the Chief Forest Officer shall put up his recommendation as to the party, rates of royalty, duration of the agreement and other terms and conditions of settlement, to the Executive Committee for orders alongwith the recommendation or comments of the local administrative heads concerned on such proposal for settlement.
