Section 8(iii) in The Chhattisgarh Municipal Services (Scale of Pay and Allowances) Rules, 1967
(iii)Those who have put in less than 5 years service on their present posts but possess the minimum qualification for the posts as prescribed in Schedule III with which their existing posts are equated under Rule 7 will be absorbed against such posts.
