Section 30(1) in The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000
(1)There shall be a Dean for each Faculty who shall be selected by the Vice-Chancellor from amongst the Professors of the concerned Faculty and shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Council.
