Section 94 in The Registration Act, 1977 (1920 A.D.)
94. Loss of documents.
- In case of loss of the original document, after its presentation to the Sub-Registrar but before completion of registration proceedings, the copy, taken from the Sub-Registrar's register, may, for purposes of registration, be treated as original, and such copy when registered, shall have the effect, as the original document itself.
