Section 13(2) in Tamil Nadu District Municipalities (Hill Stations) Building Rules, 1993
| (i) Bathroom | : 1.8 square metres with 1.5 metres by 1.2metres, |
| (ii) Water-closet | : 1.08 square metres with 0.9 metre by 1.2metres, |
| (iii) Bathroom-cum-water-closet | : 2.7 square metres with 1.5 metres by 1.8 watercloset metres, |
| (iv) Kitchen | : The height of kitchen shall be not less than2.4 metres for flat roof and 2.10 metres at eye-level for slopedroof. |
