2. 1. The petitioner-wife in the marriage is before this Court seeking transfer of the Civil Proceeding No. 316 of 2025 from the Court of the learned Judge, Family Court, Berhampur, Ganjam to the court of learned Judge, Family Court, Phulbani, Kandhamal.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner stays with her parents at Kandhamal after her marriage has run into rough weather. She is in distress as she is not receiving any maintenance from her husband. It is submitted that it would be difficult for her to attend the matter at Kandhamal which is at a long distance from Phulbani.

4. Issue notice along with this order.

Requisites for issuance of notice by speed post with registration and proof of delivery shall be filed Page 1 of 2 within seven working days. Returnable date shall be fixed to 16.04.2026.

The matter shall be listed in the week commencing 27.04.2026. Liberty to mention.

5. I.A. has been filed seeking stay of further proceeding in C.P. No. 316 of 2025.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. He reiterates the submissions as noted above.

6. Issue notice as above.

Accept one set of process fee as well as postal requisites along with the petition.

7. The returnable date and date of listing shall be as indicated above.

The matter shall be listed in the week commencing 27.04.2026. Liberty to mention.

8. The C.P. No. 316 of 2025 pending before the learned Judge, Family Court, Berhampur, Ganjam shall be adjourned to a date beyond 01.05.2026 as would be convenient to the learned court in seisin of the matter upon a prayer being made for the said purpose.
