16. Delivery of expired, suspended or cancelled certificate of survey.-
(1)The owner or master shall deliver the certificate of survey, which has expired or has been suspended or cancelled, to such officer as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf.(2)The State Government shall record the details of the cancelled certificate in the book of registry maintained by the Registrar of Inland Vessels.
