Section 6 in The Kerala Prisons and Correctional Services (Management) Act, 2010
6. Superintendent and other Officers of prisons.—
(1)In every Prison there shall be a Superintendent, a Medical Officer, a Welfare Officer and such other officers and ministerial staffs, as may be prescribed, for the functioning of the prison.(2)The Superintendent, Joint Superintendent, Medical Officer, Welfare Officer and other officers shall exercise such powers and perform such functions, as may be prescribed.
