Section 18(2) in West Bengal Shops and Establishments Rules, 1964
(2)If the whole or any part of the leave prayed for is refused or postponed, the fact of such refusal or postponement and the reasons thereof shall be recorded in a register to be maintained by the shop-keeper or employer in Form and if the employee concerned so desires, a certified copy of such entry in the register shall be supplied to him by the shop-keeper or the employer, as the case may be.
