Section 83(5) in The Punjab Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989
(5)The fee for the issue of a duplicate permit shall be [one hundred rupees.] [Sub-rule (3), (4), and (5) of rule 83 substituted vide Punjab Government Notification No. G.S.R.41/C.A.59/88/S.96/Amd.(17)/2000, dated 25.9.2002.]Provided that no fee shall be charged in the case of a duplicate permit issued in pursuance of sub-rule (4) if the original permit was issued prior to three years.
