Section 13(3) in The Merchant Shipping (Registration of Indian Ships) Rules, 1960
(3)[ The pass shall be granted on Registry Form No. 17 and bear the following endorsement at the back, namely :-"This is to certify that the Director General has, in pursuance of section 41 of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 (44 of 1958), granted permission for the ship within described to pass as an Indian ship from _____________ to ___________ "___________, whose Certificate of Competency/Service is No. _____________ is the master of the said ship".]
