Section 1 in Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act, 1955
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act, 1955.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Kerala excluding the Malabar District and shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint the Act came into force from 20-8-1955, vide Notification No. Em.8-4032/55/EHL dated 13-08-1955.
