Section 159(2) in The Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
(2)Every person desirous of availing himself of the provisions of subsection (1) shall obtain the written permission of the Commissioner and shall comply with such conditions as the Commissioner may prescribe as to the mode in which and the superintendence under which connections with municipal drains or other places aforesaid are to be made.
