                Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 3rd respondent to issue the community certificate
                to the petitioner Sandhanam, petitioner's wife Chandra and the petitioner's son
                Selvam and grandchildren Vetrivel and Devadharshini as 'Hindu Kuravan'
                scheduled caste community in accordance with law at once.

[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioners' request having been considered was rejected by the 3rd respondent vide proceedings dated 30.11.2023.

2.In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition stands dismissed.

However, it is open to the petitioners to challenge the rejection order before the appropriate forum in the manner known to law. No costs.
