Section 126 in Bihar Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2005
126. Pilling, shoring and bracing.
- The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work that-(a)Plank used for sheet pilling in excavation or tunnelling work is of sound material with adequate strength;(b).Shores and braces used in excavation or tunnelling work are of adequate dimensions and are so placed as to be effective for their intended purpose;(c)Earth supported shores or braces used in excavation or tunnelling work bear against a footing of sufficient area and stability to prevent the shifting of such shores or braces.
