Section 4(1) in The Mineral (Non-exclusive Reconnaissance Permits) Rules, 2015
(1)The holder of a non-exclusive reconnaissance permit may choose to submit its findings to the State Government and may request the State Government to conduct auction for grant of a prospecting licence-cum-mining lease or a mining lease based on such findings.
