10. Method, modalities and procedure for transfer of prisoners with mental illness.
- Transfer of a prisoner with mental illness to the psychiatric ward of the medical wing of the prison or to a mental health establishment set up under sub-section (6) of section 103 or to any other mental health establishments within or outside the State shall be in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government or State Government, as the case may be.
