Section 72(1)(a) in U.P. Revenue Code Rules, 2016

(a)One or more Tahsil Gram Panchayat Panel Lawyers (Revenue) for each tahsil in respect of revenue cases before the court of Tahsildar or before a Consolidation Officer whether they hold their court at tahsil headquarters or at any other place within the tahsil. If, there is only one Tahsil Gram Panchayat Panel Lawyer (Revenue), he will represent all the Gram Panchayats within the tahsil, but where there are more than one Tahsil Gram Panchayat Panel Lawyers (Revenue), each Tahsil Gram Panchayat Panel Lawyer (Revenue) will represent such Gram Panchayats within the tahsil as may be assigned to him by the Collector.
