1. The Petitioner, through the instant petition, inter-alia seeks a direction to Respondent No.1 to notify the name of the Petitioner as an 'Association of Persons' under Section 5(3)(a) of the Press Council Act, 1978, for the XV term of the Press Council.
2. Issue notice. Counsel representing for Respondents mentioned above, accept notice.
3. Mr. T. Singhdev, counsel for Respondent No.1, points out that an identical matter is being heard by the Division Bench in W.P.(C) 16740/2024 which is listed for consideration on 18th December, 2024.
