Section 2(1) in The Indian Forest (Punjab Amendment) Act, 1962
(1)After sub-section (2), the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely :-"(2A) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (2), it also extends to the territories which before the Ist November, 1956, were comprised in the State of Patiala and East Punjab States Union"; and
