(5)The Head of a Department/Centre/Unit shall recommend to Controller of Examinations, names of persons suitable for appointment of paper setters, examiners for evaluation of theses and dissertations and for conducting viva-voce examinations, wherever prescribed for awarding graduate, post graduate, doctorate, other higher degrees etc.
