(3)The Senior Assistant Superintendent shall take the place of the Deputy Superintendent whenever that officer is temporarily absent from, or incapacitated for duty, and, when the Deputy Superintendent is present, shall discharge such duties and assist in such ways, as may, from time to time, be prescribed in writing, by the Superintendent.
