ORDER
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner by Video Conferencing mode.
2. By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed to quash the Notification No. G.S.R. 1183 (E) dated 29.12.2016 (Annexure-2) issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, New Delhi, Government of India amending Rule 81 of the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989 for levy of additional fees for renewal of certificate of registration for each month of delay after expiry of registration certificate, which was incorporated under entry at Sl. No.4 of the table and to direct opposite party no.3 to renew the R.C. Book without payment of additional fees per month.
3. A batch of similar writ petitions were disposed of by this Court vide common judgments dated 01.02.2019 passed in W.P.(C) No.14114 of 2018 (Dinabandhu Sahoo vs. Union of India and others) and 13.12.2019 passed in W.P.(C) No.18124 of 2019 (Anirudha Kumar Dash vs. Union of India and others).
4. Since the issue involved in the present writ petition is squarely covered to that of W.P.(C) No.14114/2018 and W.P.(C) No.18124/2019, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission in terms of the said common judgments dated -2- 01.02.2019 passed in W.P.(C) No.14114 of 2018 and 13.12.2019 passed in W.P.(C) No.18124/2019.
