(1)All cases suspected to be of notified diseases shall be brought to the notice of the sanitary authority. The communication shall be made as soon as such case comes to the knowledge of the medical practitioner or any doctor who treats the patient or the head of the family of the patient or by patient himself or by the owner of the premises where the patient is residing.
