(2)There shall be paid to the [Madurai-Kamaraj University] [This expression was substituted for the expression 'Madurai University' by section 4 of the Madurai University (Amendment and Special Provisions) Act, 1978 (Tamil Nadu Act No. 38 of 1978) which was deemed to have come into force on the 22nd July 1978.] out of the accumulations in the superannuation fund and other like funds, if any, of the University of Madras such amounts as have been credited to the superannuation fund or other like funds, if any, on behalf of the persons referred to in sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 54.
