(i)As per the provisions made in Rule 5 (i) no person shall manufacture plastic carry bags or recycle plastic carry bags. However manufacturing of multilayered packaging materials can be done only after obtaining a valid registration from the Bihar State Pollution Control Board, prior to the commencement of production.(ii)All producer, recycler and manufacturer of plastic materials, multilayered packaging shall obtain registration and renewal with Bihar State Pollution Control Board, as per the provisions made in the Plastic Waste Management Rule 2016.Chapter-V Collection, Segregation, Processing of Plastic Waste
