3. The petitioners have approached this Court assailing the decision of the respondents as published on their web-portal dated 23.04.2022 informing the prospective candidates that the admission to the B.Sc. (Nursing) course in MNS for the academic session 2022-23 will be based on the score obtained by the candidates in NEET UG-2022.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for the last many years, admission to B.Sc (Nursing) was based on entrance Signature Not Verified Digitally Signed By:GARIMA MADAN Signing Date:30.04.2022 13:05:26 examination being conducted by the respondent. In the said examination the students were tested in General English, General Intelligence and Science with 50 marks for each of these three subjects. He submits that the pattern of NEET-UG is entirely different wherein the students are tested in detail on different science subjects. He therefore contends that the students could not have been taken by surprise at this belated stage when they barely have time to prepare for the NEET-UG, 2022 or to even fill the application before the last date of 06.05.2022 prescribed for the said exam.

5. Issue notice. Mr. Alok Singh accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. He prays for and is granted one week's time to obtain instructions. On the next date, depending upon the instructions obtained by learned counsel for the respondent, the Court will consider whether there is any requirement of directing the respondents to file a counter affidavit.

6. List on 04.05.2022.
