Section 26(1) in The Maharashtra State Council of Examinations Act, 1998
(1)The Government shall have the power. after considering the advice, if any, tendered by the State Council, to issue to that Council or a Regional Council such directions as it may consider necessary in regard to all or any of the matters specified in clause in (a) of sub-sections (1) of section 23. The Council concerned shall comply with such directions.
