33. Term of the Chief Commissioner and Commissioner.
(1)The term of office of Chief Commissioner shall be for a period of three years from the date on which he assumes office, or till he attains the age of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier.(2)The term of office of the Commissioner shall be for a period of three years and may be extended for a period of another two years or till he attains the age of sixty years, whichever is earlier.(3)A person may serve as Chief Commissioner or Commissioner for a maximum period of two terms subject to the condition that he has not attained the age of sixty-five years, or sixty years, respectively.
