Section 3 in Andhra Pradesh Conduct of Language Pandit Common Entrance Test for admission into Pandit Training course Rules, 2006

3. Eligibility for appearing to the LPCET or LPCET-AC.

- Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for LPCET or LPCET-AC.
(i)The candidates should be Indian Nationals.
(ii)The candidates should satisfy local/ non-local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institution (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
(iii)Educational qualifications for:
(a)Telugu Pandit Training Course: B.A. (Telugu Literature) (OR) B.A. (Oriental Language-Telugu( (OR) Bachelor of Oriental Languages in Telugu (OR) Bachelors Degree with one of the optional subjects as Telugu (OR) M.A. (Telugu)
(b)Hindi Pandit Training course: Bachelors degree with one of the optional subjects as Hindi (OR) Bachelor of Oriental Languages in Hindi (OR) Praveena of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad (OR) Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad or any other equivalent recognized qualification in Hindi (B.A. Standard) (OR) M.A. (Hindi)
(c)Urdu Pandit Training Course: B.A. (Urdu Literature) (OR) B.A. (Oriental Language-Urdu) (OR) Bachelor of Oriental Languages in Urdu (OR) Bachelors Degree with one of the Optional subjects as Urdu (OR) M.A. (Urdu)
(iv)Age Limit. - The candidates seeking admission should not be less than 19 years of age as on 1st July of the year of conduct of examination of joining in the pandit .training course. There is no upper age limit for admission into pandit training courses.
