(k)"National Accredition Bodies" means a body established by the Central Government for laying down norms and conditions for ensuring academic standards of higher education, such as University Grants Commission, All India Council of Technical Education, Medical Council of India, Pharmaceutical Council of India, Central Council of Indian Medicine, Dental Council of India, National Council of Teacher Education, Bar Council of India, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Council of Architecture, Nursing Council of India and includes the Government;
