13. Mediator not hound by Evidence Act, 1872 or Code of Civil Procedure. 1908. -
The mediator shall not be bound by the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 or the Evidence Act, 1872, but shall be guided by principles of fairness and justice, have regard to the rights and obligations of the panics, usages of trade, if any, and the nature of the dispute.
