(1)There shall be constituted and incorporated a State-aided University by the name of the Kanyashree University in the District of Nadia.(2)The Vice-Chancellor and the members of the Governing Board, so long as they continue to hold such office or membership, shall constitute a body corporate by the name of the Kanyashree University.(3)The University shall be a body corporate and shall have perpetual succession and common seal and shall have power to sue and be sued by the name of the Kanyashree University.(4)The Headquarter of the University shall be located at Nadia.(5)The territorial jurisdiction of the University shall extend to the whole of the State of West Bengal.
