99. Effect of entrustment of powers and functions to [Mandal Panchayat] [Substituted by Act 35 of 1986 w.e.f.17.6.1986].
- Notwithstanding anything contained in the [Karnataka Zilla Parishads Taluk Panchayat Samithis Mandal Panchayats and Nyaya Panchayats Act 1983 a Mandal Panchayat] [Substituted by Act 35 of 1986 w.e.f.17.6.1986] shall be competent to exercise the powers and perform the duties entrusted to it under sub-section (1) of section 97 in such manner as may be prescribed.
