Section 24(1) in The West Bengal State University (Barasat, North 24-Parganas) Act, 2007.
(1)There shall be the following Councils for Undergraduate Studies:-(i)the Council for Undergraduate Studies in Arts, Science, Commerce, Home Science, Fine Arts, Music and Physical Education;(ii)the Council for Undergraduate Studies in Law;(iii)the Council for Undergraduate Studies in Engineering, Technology and Management.
