(1)If immediately before the day on which this Act comes into force in [the territories which, immediately before the 1st November, 1956, were comprised in a Part B State], there is in force in [those territories] [Subs.by the Adaptation of Laws (No. 3) Order, 1956, for "that State".] any law which corresponds to this Act, such corresponding law shall, on that day, stand repealed.
