(2)The Registrar may sue and be sued in the name of the Institute. In the absence of the Registrar or when authorised by the Director in this behalf, the Deputy Registrar or the Assistant Registrar shall represent the Institute in legal proceedings; shall sign pleadings and other documents and accept processes on behalf of the Institute in such legal proceedings.
