Section 25(a) in The Orissa Muhammedan Marriages and Divorces Registration Rules, 1976
(a)by examining the parties to the marriage, or if either or both of them are minors, their lawful guardians. If the woman be a purdahnashin her duly authorised agent shall be examined instead of the woman;
