1. The petitioners, who are residents of Hisar, have filed this petition, aggrieved by violation of fundamental right, right which is alleged to be breached by excessive sound emanating from loud-speakers loud speakers operated in violation of Noise Pollution (Regulation on and Control) Rules, 2000 and Environment (Protection) Act, 1986. The grievance is essentially against respondent No. 7-Shri Shri Shyam Baba Temple Trust (Shri Shyam Mandal (Regd.) (Regd who is using loud-speakers speakers at different times for carrying out religious r ceremonies.

2. This Court need not enter into the merits of the case as this very issue has since been adjudicated upon and certain guidelines have been laid down for the authorities to regulate the noise pollution emanating from loud loud-speakers used d by 1 of 2 ::: Downloaded on - 28-02-2026 03:55:27 ::: CWP-6081-2026 (O&M) -2- Temples, Mosques, Gurudwaras etc., without permission of the competent authorities.

3. This Court directs that the decision of the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court, rendered on 22.07.2019 in bunch of writ petitions, including CWP-6213-2016, 'Reet Mohinder Singh vs. State of Punjab and others' shall apply in full force to the present cause of the petitioners and the official respondents, including respondent No. 7, are directed to ensure compliance of those guidelines laid down in paragraph 28 of the order dated 22.07.2019 (supra), which shall apply mutatis mutandis.

4. With the aforesaid observations, this petition stands disposed of.
