Section 44 in Calcutta Port Act, 1890

44. Minutes of proceedings to be kept open for inspection free of charge.-

(1)Minutes of the proceedings of all meetings of the Commissioners under this Act shall be drawn up and fairly entered in a book to be kept for that purpose, and shall be signed by the President after each meeting.
(2)The said minutes shall, at all reasonable limes, be open at the office of the Commissioners to the inspection of any Commissioner without charge 1[and shall, excepting such portion thereof as the Chairman may in any particular case direct, be open to the inspection also of the public at the office of the Commissioners during office hours on payment of such fee for each inspection as may from time to time be fixed by the Commissioners in meeting].
