Section 19(3) in The Bombay Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
(3)A retiring Mayor or Deputy Mayor shall be eligible for re-election to either office.[Provided that Mayor shall be eligible for re-election subject to the provisions of subsection (1A).]
