19. Subordination of canal officers.

- The Chief Engineer shall be subordinate to the State Government;all other canal officers shall be subordinate to the Chief Engineer;all canal officers in a circle shall be subordinate to the Superintending Engineer; andall canal officers in a division shall be subordinate to the Executive Engineer.
