Section 9(1) in The Special Rules for the Mulit-storeyed and Public Buildings, 1974
(1)Clear aisles not less than 1.2 metres in width shall he provided at right angles to the line of seating in such number and manner that no seat shall be more than 3.8 metres away from an aisle measured in the line of seating.
