30. Powers and duties of Academic Council.
- The Academic Council shall-(a)subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, generally regulate and have the control of, and be responsible for, the maintenance of standard of teaching, research and examination of the University and for the fulfilment of requirements tor obtaining degrees;(b)advise the Board and other authorities of the University on all academic matters;(c)exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be conferred or imposed upon it by or under this Act.
