Section 93(a) in The Daman And Diu Panchayat Regulation, 2012
(a)to call for-(i)any extract from the proceedings of the District Panchayat or any books, records, correspondence or documents in the possession or under the control of the District Panchayat;(ii)any return, plan, estimate, statement, account or report for the purpose of inspection or examination;
