Section 1 in The Probate and Administration Act, 1977
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Probate and Administration Act, 1977.(2)It extends to the whole of Jammu and Kashmir State. It shall come into force on the 1st day of Baisakh, 1978.
