Section 40(1) in Tamil Nadu Private Schools (Regulation) Act, 2018
(1)Any person who wilfully contravenes, or attempts to contravene, or knowingly abets the contravention of any of the provisions of this Act other than sections 8(7), 20(2), 22(3) and 22(4) or any of the rules made thereunder, shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one lakh rupee and in the case of a continuing contravention, an additional fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees for each day during which such contravention continues.
