- The following shall be the authorities of the university:-

(1)the Senate,

(2)the Syndicate,

(2A)[ the Academic Council,] [Item (2A) was inserted, by Gujarat 8 of 1966, Section 10.]

(3)the Faculties,

(4)the Board of Studies,

(5)the Board of Post-graduate Studies and Research,

(6)such other bodies of the University as are Senate may declare by Statutes to be authorities of the University.
